I’ve traveled for 12 years…

For the past 12 years, I’ve traveled the world, waking up to the streets of Tokyo, watching sunsets in Santorini, getting lost in the charm of New York, backpacking in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and alot more.

But if you ask me, “What’s the best country?”

I’d say, Malaysia.

Because no matter how far I go, nowhere else feels as welcoming.

Nowhere else greets you with a smile like an old friend, where strangers call you abang, kak, like they’ve known you forever.

Want to understand how amazing Malaysian food is? Stay abroad for a while. Nothing makes you miss home like craving nasi lemak, satay, or a good plate of char kuey teow only to realize nothing else comes close.

Want to appreciate Malaysia’s warmth? Live somewhere else. You’ll quickly notice how kindness, respect, and unity aren’t found everywhere.

The further you go, the more you’ll see. But home isn’t just a place it’s a feeling. And no matter how many stamps fill my passport, Malaysia will always be home.
